We are ecstatic with this weekend's rally result of 1st place in M4 but also as the fastest freighting team in the entire competition. This was the first rally of the season for our team as with two younger kids joining us we felt it best to take some time out to train them and familiarise them with the harness and commands before throwing them in at the deep end at a rally competition. There were several professional photographers at the rally site over the weekend so we have some fantastic shots of our team at different stages in the race. Thank you to Ian Pullin and Kirsty Mountstephens for organising such a great event.

Adorable Bear post race - one mucky wheel dog

The trail was particularly muddy following all of our wet winter weather as demonstrated by our oldest malamute Bear, pictured above, we love this guy no matter what we're doing he always gives 100% and has a face that you just can't resist.

Nome - our best female lead dog!

Meanwhile Nome, our youngest leader managed to keep herself quite clean. Here she is looking very pleased with her race performance. The sunlight in this picture really shows up some of her sable markings not to be confused with too much mud. Photograph by Douglas McCaffrey.

And finally here are the results from the two day heat - you can find our team by looking up Ryan Reader as their musher.
